Heike Böhler is project lead for energy concepts, contracting and municipal heating planning at the energy agency LEA LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen. With her team she is currently developing and expanding Hesse's consulting services for municipal heating planning. At LEA Hessen the team offers support for more than 400 Hessian municipalities on  municipal heating planning with individual advice, regular consulting hours, events and a steadily growing network in municipal heating planning. Heike Böhler studied political science and economics in Heidelberg and Montreal and worked on climate protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy at ifeu (Institute for Energy and Environmental Research) Heidelberg. Subsequently, she worked for 5 years as a researcher at Technical University of Darmstadt in the field of energy and climate policy. Since 2021, she has been working at the LandesEnergieAgentur, supporting municipalities on their way to a climate-neutral future.
